So being sleep deprived is causing strange dreams! Poor Starlite spit out a litter of baby foals...one right after another...I think she ended up with 4. I was half sleeping half looking at Starlite and by the time I actually woke up.....I was dazed and confused as to the odd dreams.
Of course....no foals. I think the mares are enjoying the fact that I am sleeping in the barn with them. They run out of hay...bang on the door...I jump up and give them a flake. Service on demand. LOL....they will never foal!
Long day ahead. All the "forgotten ones" need baths to treat their rainrot. Have to treat thrush on most of them too....and at one point we have got to tackle those knots in their manes and tails. I don't have the heart to just cut them out. Would be a rough summer with no fly swatters!
Off to go do morning shores. Keep your fingers crossed for some babies at some point!
